FOR CLEAN AIR

It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon of the second and third of May with you in Mělník. Thanks to our previous research within the TENT AIR project, which aimed to investigate the cleanliness of the air in your city, we were aware of the problems associated with pollution caused by local heating plants.

We therefore decided to take this opportunity to meet with you to update you on our planned initiatives to improve air quality in your area. We introduced you to the city’s current project in the pipeline, which includes planting green spaces, as well as a project that addresses the issue of local heating plants. The accompanying programme was organised under the guidance of Ing. Horák from VŠB TU Ostrava and included an educational show called „Smokeman intervenes“. This interactive show was aimed at highlighting the problems associated with air pollution and presenting possible solutions.
